Certificate III in Health Support Services (HLT32807)

Overview

You can complete a Certificate III in Health Support Services with Health Training Australia, by a Skills Recognition process. Skills Recognition or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the process of accessing a person's skills and knowledge against national standards.

Skills recognition is available to existing workers that have been employed in the industry for 12 months or more, and who are not eligible for the Professional Development Program for Hospital Support Workers or a traineeship.

What Does it Involve?

Applicants must fill in an application form, which should be sent to Health Training Australia with full payment. A Skill Recognition application package and self/peer assessment package will then be issued to eligible applicants. Complete as much as possible of the package and send it back to Health Training Australia. A Workplace Assessor will then be in contact to discuss the assessment process.

Applicants who demonstrate the required skills and knowledge will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Certificate III in Health Support Services.

The cost of the Skills Recognition process is $545.00 (GST free).
