Overview
You can complete a Certificate II and Certificate III in Health Support Services (Client / Patient
Support Services) with Health Training Australia , by a Skills Recognition process.
Recommended for
Skills Recognition or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the process of accessing a person's
skills and knowledge against national standards.
Skills recognition is available to:
- Existing workers that have been employed in the industry for 12 months or more, and
- Not eligible for the Professional Development Program for Hospital Support Workers or a traineeship.
What does it involve?
Applicants are required to:
- Fill in an application form.
- Complete a knowledge question pack
- Complete self / peer assessment
- A Workplace Assessor will be in contact to discuss the process and assess applicants on the
job.
- Applicants who demonstrate the required skills will receive a Nationally Recognised qualification.
2007 Program
Training: All training and assessments are
delivered on the job.
Enrolment: Complete the attached registration form and return
to the HTA along with payment to commence the Skills Recognition Process.
Cost: $525.00 (GST Free)

Qualification
On successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate II and Certificate
