Overview
This course addresses work in residential and/or in community agencies and day care centres and work under professional supervision within defined organisation guidelines or as sole practitioners. On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (CHC40608)
Course Content
Includes 16 units of competency covering:
- Work effectively in the leisure and health industry
- Facilitate groups for individual outcomes
- Plan, implement and monitor leisure and health programs
- Plan leisure and health programs for clients with complex needs
- Apply sociological concepts to leisure and health
- Apply knowledge of human behaviour in leisure activity programs
