Certificate III in Disability (CHC30408)
Overview
This course has been designed to give participants the knowledge, understanding and practical skills needed to provide care and support to people with disabilities in the community and /or residential facilities. It is recommended for people working with or interested in working with people with disabilities.
On successful completion participants will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate III in Disability.
Course Content
Includes 14 units of competency covering:
- Working effectively with people with disabilities
- Supporting community participation and inclusion
- Providing support to meet personal care needs
- Implementation of individual care plans
- Occupational health and safety
- Manual handling
