HTA featured on "The Jobs Hub"
HTA was featured on a segment of the Russell Goodrich Show called "The Jobs Hub". The segment ran on 13 March 2010 and gave HTA the opportunity to showcase what it does, commencing with initial selection and progressing to training and working with a care organisation. Filming was done at the David Buttfield Centre and included trainee, Amy Hayter in the workplace.
Everyone seemed to enjoy being involved in the filming and the presenter and production staff camera crew were excellent in putting together a high quality video. Thanks to all trainees involved and the management and staff of the David Buttfield Centre.
ACSWA
Excellence in Care Awards 2009
The inaugural Aged and Community Services WA (ACSWA) Awards were presented on Friday, 5 June 2009 at Burswood Entertainment Complex. Guests were treated to a delicious dinner and live entertainment from popular local band, Our Generation. ABC Sports Broadcaster Trevor Jenkins was MC and Senator Judith Adams was the special guest and presented the ACE Aged Care Excellence Award.
The Australian Medical Association (WA) sponsored the ACSWA Trainee of the Year and the award was presented by Ms Noelle Jones, Director of Health and Community Services.
