Who
Health Training Australia is a not-for-profit Group Training Organisation, sponsored by the Australian Medical Association.
Why
You can employ a trainee without any of the hassles and receive up to $250.00 in Australian Government Incentives.
How
Trainees are recruited and employed by HTA and placed with you, the "Host Employer" for the duration of the traineeship. Trainees can work part-time (minimum 20 hrs/week) or full-time (35+ hrs/week). HTA manages employment and administration (in consultation with Host Employers) including:
- Recruitment
- Superannuation
- Leave Loading
- Tax
- Workers Compensation Insurance

Host Employers will benefit from:
- Saving time and money being freed of all administration and payroll associated with employing staff
- Gain a skilled and motivated employee trained specifically to the needs of your business
- On-going support from HTA Consultants throughout the traineeship
- No binding contracts - If you no longer need your trainee you can hand them back
- Training is delivered through off-the-job training by a Registered Training Organisation; off-the-job training is usually on a one day per week basis
Charge Out Rates
The charge out rates are based on cost recovery and include all Annual Leave Entitlements, Workers Compensation Insurance and Superannuation.
