Health Training Australia is a not-for-profit Group Training Organisation, sponsored by the Australian Medical Association.
Why
You can employ a trainee without any of the hassles and receive up to $250.00 in Australian Government Incentives.
How
Trainees are recruited and employed by HTA and placed with you, the "Host Employer" for the duration of the traineeship. HTA manages employment and administration (in consultation with Host Employers) including:
- Recruitment
- Superannuation
- Leave Loading
- Tax
- Workers Compensation Insurance
Duration
Trainees can work part-time (minimum 20 hrs/week) or full-time (35+ hrs/week).

- Saving time and money being freed of all administration and payroll associated with employing staff
- Gain a skilled and motivated employee trained specifically to the needs of your business
- On-going support from HTA Consultants throughout the traineeship
- No binding contracts - If you no longer need your trainee you can hand them back
- Training is delivered through off-the-job training by a Registered Training Organisation; off-the-job training is usually on a one day per week basis
Charge Out Rates
The charge out rates are based on cost recovery and include all Annual Leave Entitlements, Workers Compensation Insurance and Superannuation.
