Health Training Australia (Inc) (HTA) is a Group Training and Registered Training Organisation operating under the sponsorship of the Australian Medical Association (WA) Inc. Established in 1997, HTA offers training and traineeship employment opportunities primarily in aged care, home and community care; and health support services occupations.

Group Training Trainee of the Year Awards 2009
The
annual Group Training Awards for 2009 were held on Friday 18 September at The Vines Resort in Ellenbrook.
Health Training Australia was represented by Noelle Jones, Geoff Jones and Jayne Cummings. A wealth of representatives
attended from Group Training Organisations from all over the State. The event kicked off in the reception
area at the Vines with pre dinner drinks.
The MC for the night was the lovely Christina Morissy, well known Perth news reporter. Group Training Chairman Stan Liaros welcomed all to the event and spoke about the history of GTA WA. All guests enjoyed a three course meal and entertainment.
Unfortunately our nominated trainee Vickie did not win but was acknowledged as a finalist and was invited to attend the gala evening.
